Snettisham Parish Council have identified the play area adjacent to the Memorial Field as a priority for improvement. The play area has been a well-used facility for the children of the village for many years but it was felt that it could be improved, some of the equipment is in need of replacement or refurbishment to maintain an attractive and safe facility.

We are working with the Primary school and play group – consulting on what equipment the children may prefer. Three play equipment companies have been asked to design a scheme including accessible equipment that will provide opportunities for exercise and fun for children of all abilities.

The Parish Council would also like to hear from any residents, if you have preferences for equipment or design.

These designs are available for anyone in the village to view and comment on. Comments will be collated and taken into account when it comes to choosing the final design. The designs are available to view in the Council Offices when open and at Council meetings.

For the project to go ahead, funding will be raised from bids made to grant making organisations, as well as a local fundraising. If you have any questions please contact us.
