There will be elections for the Parish Council on 2nd May, along with a separate poll for one Borough Councillor. For further information please click here.
In the meantime, we have two vacancies, which we are able to fill by co-option, though in the run-up to the election we are not obliged to. Please contact the Clerk or any Councillor if you would like more information; being a councillor is a rewarding way of giving something back to the community, and shaping how things are done for years to come. Even if you feel that you may not be able to take this on yourself, please ask others who you believe might be interested.

In addition Council has a Clerk, who is also the Responsible Financial Officer – the Clerk is currently Simon Bower.
We have an Administrative Assistant, Rachael Edwards, who covers the Office when the Clerk is not present, and has her own remit including the Village fete etc.
Council’s third employee is Marian McCall, who keeps the central area of the Village clean and tidy, and cleans the Office.
The Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk has two Ward Councillors who represent Snettisham along with Sedgeford, Fring, Ingoldisthorpe and Shernborne:
